Hatha Yoga, although only one dimension of the Yoga philosophy, is instrumental in helping people grow and heal physically, mentally and spiritually. Hatha Yoga embodies physical movements, postures and breathing techniques, which is the best-known form of yoga, and is the act of bringing together the ego and the self.

Humans are threefold beings, consisting of mind, body and spirit. Some philosophies would even question the existence of the mind. However, what we find, is that spirituality is very much rooted in the body.
