A Pain in the Neck
Many of us have suffered from neck pain or stiffness at some time. Let me walk you through the examples and share some guidance.

It’s not what you do, it is the way you do it.

 

Consider the engineering problem of balancing a large heavy ball on top of a thin flexible pole in such a way that the ball can be rotated whilst the pole if flexed and bent in almost every direction without the ball falling off. Indeed, our necks are a miracle of such engineering. We watch the ground when we walk. Turn to look at a friend, nod our approval, shake our heads and check out the starry night sky, all without giving the movement a thought,
